Stolen 2020 election theory

Charlie Kirk and Turning Point USA were among the most prominent post-election promoters of the claim that the 2020 election was stolen. TPUSA organized Stop the Steal rallies in multiple states, sponsored the January 5 2021 'Save America' DC events, and chartered buses bringing supporters to Washington for the January 6 rally that preceded the Capitol attack.

Kirk personally tweeted on January 6 morning that TPUSA was sending '80+ buses full of patriots' to DC (later deleted; he stated the figure was inaccurate). The January 6 Select Committee subpoenaed Kirk and TPUSA records.

Kirk has continued to argue 2020 fraud through 2024, focusing on Mark Zuckerberg's $400 million in Center for Tech and Civic Life grants to local election offices ('Zuckerbucks') as decisive in swing-state results, a framing developed by Mollie Hemingway and Molly Ball.
