Trump-Epstein connection conspiracy

Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein were socially connected from at least the late 1980s through the early 2000s. Trump told New York magazine in 2002 that Epstein was a 'terrific guy' who 'likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side'. Flight logs show Trump on Epstein's plane multiple times in the 1990s.

Trump and Epstein had a public falling-out around 2004 over a Palm Beach real estate deal. Trump later said in 2019 he was 'not a fan' and had barred Epstein from Mar-a-Lago.

Conspiracy claims branch in two directions. The first alleges Trump appears on a suppressed Epstein client list and is shielded from exposure. The second, from some Trump supporters, alleges Epstein's August 2019 death in federal custody was an assassination to protect Democratic figures including Bill Clinton. The Department of Justice and FBI in July 2025 stated there is no 'client list' and the death was suicide.
